Did you know that 90% of brain development happens in the first five years of life?
I am not suggesting that you must teach your child to read before they are of school age. Instead what I want to suggest that you can provide your little one with a rich learning environment in your home that ensures that your child has exposure to vocabulary, print, songs, quality literature and so much more. It is in building a solid foundation in the early years through daily routines and through play, that your child will flourish and thrive once they are ready to learn how to read and write.
